Discipleship: Roberto Benigni, the director of Life is Beautiful, gives his audience great advice about dscipleship, "May your steps move at the pace of [Jesus'] steps, fix your gaze in his direction."
Emerging: Scot McKnight writes a very insightful article "The Future or Fad?" I see this as a healthy critique from within.
Funny: Joe at the evangelical outpost has a hilarious account of the virtues of being ugly. My favorite quote, "There is a broad spectrum on the ugly scale with plain being on one end and carnie worker reject being on the other."
Not the Kingdom: A man weilding a knife that was approached by the police would not drop it. When he refused, one of the officers shot him with a taser. The only problem is the taser hit a lighter in his pocket and caught on fire.
